This research line concerns mainly the:

• Study of innovative, flexible, environmental-friendly manufacturing processes with emphasis on metal forming, casting, joining and polymer, composite and stone processing.

• Integration of new materials and optimization of existing manufacturing processes, by deeper understanding of the fundamental phenomena playing a key role in their performance.
