INEGI starts 2022 advanced training calendar with the «Circular Economy and Sustainability» program
06 December 2021In 2022, INEGI is once again focusing on preparing professionals for the future in areas such as industry 4.0, sustainability and energy. As usual, the training offer meets the present and helps to plan the future of companies. It is based on hands-on learning and contact with factories and laboratories and has a group of experts as trainers.
The training calendar for the first half of the year starts on 25th January, with the program «Circular Economy and Sustainability». The course promotes the transition to systems and circular thinking and will enable professionals to face the challenges and seize the opportunities of transformation driven by the circular economy.
Sustainability and the circular economy are an increasingly high priority
According to Ana Ramos, coordinator of the program, "the ability to create circular products, services and business models is increasingly important”. Viviana Correia Pinto, also coordinator, adds, "sustainability and the circular economy are increasingly present in consumer purchase decisions, and there is a growing number of specific measures and incentives to drive change”.
Trainees will have the opportunity to learn about the current framework, policies and regulations of the Circular Economy, understand circular strategies for implementation in industrial production, learn about new circular business models and possible paths to decarbonisation, and assess the business through circularity figures and product lifecycle assessment.
In line with the hands-on approach, they will also explore case studies of success, participate in discussion workshops, and develop a practical project.
