Workshop | Self-sufficiency and Sustainability in Ports

April 13th at INEGI Registration

Presentation

Seaports are energy intensive and a source of air pollution, two environmental problems that can be minimized through the use of renewable energy. Considering the convergence of resources, infrastructure and facilities in ports, marine renewable energy emerges as a promising alternative and, to make this scenario a reality, the PORTOS - Ports Towards Energy Self-Sufficiency project was created.

The project is now in its final stretch and this initiative aims to make known the results of the project, tracing a path for the integrated use of renewable energy resources in the ports of the Atlantic Area and increasing their energy efficiency, establishing an action plan towards a more competitive, self-sufficient and sustainable sector.

This event is aimed at professionals from port authorities and all who work along the value chain of this sector.
