Presentation

In this workshop we will present a practical case of cooperation between national industry and R&D to create value through digitization and computing.

We will present the ITOOL project, an initiative that aimed to answer the question: how are industrial means of production combined with the latest cyber-physical technologies in the areas of Digitization, Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence aiming to create value?

This workshop will illustrate the disruptive changes in the production and business model of a national company that arise from these concepts, and that necessarily integrate new integrated and customized process engineering and product engineering tools, with the objective of computationally representing all the stages of the development and production process in the organization.

Finally, the workshop will discuss how this approach allows obtaining concrete and measurable results for the company, and the role of synergistic cooperation between industry and national R&D in this context of industrial transformation.

The event is aimed at professionals with management roles in the areas of R&D, Engineering, and Technology.
