Webinar | Strategies and Policies for Decarbonization: the Role of Cities

The decarbonization of European cities is currently on the political agenda in an urgent way due to the importance of urban agglomerations in achieving the ambitious national and European targets in terms of energy and climate. However, cities face different types of challenges, such as those related to rising energy and technology prices, barriers to digitization, difficulty in achieving the necessary behavioral changes, among others. How to overcome these obstacles?

In this webinar, we discusses different approaches adopted in innovation projects with demonstrators in Portugal, which allow testing new strategies at a local level. We invited all those involved and interested in the decarbonisation of cities to join us, namely citizens, companies in the sector, local authorities, associations and interest groups.
