Presentation

Decentralized energy production and the Renewable Energy Communities (CER) are gaining importance in the conversation surrounding the energy market, having already a legal framework in Portugal. Will this be a successful bet? And how to go from paper to reality?
In this webinar we will learn about successful cases of community energy initiatives, analyze the transfer potential to the national context, and, based on an analysis of the main challenges of the regulatory and legal framework in force, identify priority actions to accelerate the implementation of this type of initiatives in Portugal.
We invite all entities and actors involved or interested in the implementation of CERs in Portugal to join us, namely energy communities, cooperatives, municipal entities, associations and interest groups, and public authorities.
This initiative is promoted by INEGI within the scope of the European project COME RES – Advancing Renewable Energy Communities.
