LAETA - Associated Laboratory for Energy, Transports and Aeronautics

INEGI is a Research Unit of the LAETA - Associated Laboratory for Energy, Transports and Aeronautics , which also includes the Institute of Mechanical Engineering – IST, the Institute of Mechanical Engineering - IDMEC/FEUP, the Center for Science and Technology of Aeronautics and Space - IST and the Aeronautical Industrial Laboratory of the University of Coimbra.

The Institute also maintains privileged relations with other research units including CESA – Research Center for Wind Energy and Atmospheric Flows and CEFT - Transport Phenomena Research Center, both formally based at FEUP.
