Simulation of Production Processes

Nowadays, it is very common to use numerical simulation of manufacturing processes, as this technology allows to rationalise processes and, consequently, the products produced by them. All this before the product goes into production. INEGI’s collaboration with metallic and composite materials companies allowed the Institute to develop projects and acquire competencies in a series of manufacturing processes, such as those for casting, plastic forming, forging and resin transfer.
