New Casting Technologies

INEGI has several casting technologies, which allows the Institute to act in different areas of industry, such as glass, plastic, automotive and aeronautics. The Institute is able to produce metal prototypes and pre-series by casting and punching processes and CNC machining.

INEGI also produces engineering models and casting moulds using LOM (Laminated Object Manufacturing) and Stereolithograpgy rapid prototyping techniques. Rapid tooling is done using vacuum resin casting technologies and sand, ceramic or lost wax casting.
