WHY THIS PROGRAM

The energy sector is changing. The energy transition is driven by the undeniable urgency of adopting measures for decarbonization, and by national and European policies that require firm action in terms of planning and holistic management of energy systems.

In this context, hydrogen appears as one of the key vectors for decarbonization in the basic strategy of the European Green Deal, and promises to play an important role in the optimization and decarbonization of natural gas networks, as a vector for increasing the flexibility of energy systems, and as a transversal energy source in industry and mobility.

Obtaining a current view of the regulatory area, market models and the hydrogen value chain, with particular emphasis on its technical components, as well as the associated opportunities and challenges, is therefore of particular importance.

FOR WHOM

Middle and senior management in the energy sector and other sectors of activity where the energy transition could have a great impact, namely: utilities, industries with high energy consumption, glass, ceramics and steel industry, transport companies and energy asset portfolio managers.

Professionals from public or private organizations interested in acquiring knowledge in this area, enhancing their intervention in the energy transition underway.

OBJECTIVES

〉 Acquire knowledge about the various forms of hydrogen production, storage, distribution and applications

〉Know the regulation, legislation and hydrogen market.

〉Explore success stories in the sector, namely those associated with green H2 (blending in natural gas networks, syngas, etc).

〉Identify opportunities and needs for hydrogen market creation and business development.

〉Know the main challenges to the implementation of hydrogen in current energy systems and possible solutions.

DATES AND FORMAT

〉 Dates: 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30 of May, and 1, 6, 15, 20 and 22 of June.

〉 Format: 10 sessons, 4 hours longsessões de 4 horas cada, live-streamed online

METODOLOGIES

〉 Online sessions, in real time.

〉Expository and active method using collaborative tools, dynamic and interactive sessions.

〉Sharing of real implementation cases: Air Liquide, Bondalti, Bosch, Caetano Bus, Cimpor, EDP, PRF, REN, and Smartenergy

Debates between participants.
