WHY THIS PROGRAM

The effects of the linear economy based on "extract-produce-use-discard", related to the massive production of goods without worrying about replenishing natural reserves, are reflected in the scarcity of some essential resources, in the high amount of waste produced daily and climate change.

Sustainability and the circular economy are increasingly present in consumers' purchasing decisions, and the number of specific measures and incentives, namely European ones, to drive change is growing. In this way, the ability to create circular products, services and business models is increasingly important.

This course promotes the transition to systemic and circular thinking and offers concepts, tools and strategies to face the challenges and opportunities of transformation driven by the circular economy.
