INEGI is already part of the European association A.SPIRE

INEGI is already part of A.SPIRE, the European association responsible for the management and implementation of Process4Planet, the European partnership, supported by the funding program I&I - Horizonte Europa, which aims to make European manufacturing industries circular and carbon neutral by 2050 .

This association brings together more than 180 members, spread over 20 European countries, who work in sectors of the transformation industry, such as cement, ceramics, chemicals, engineering, minerals and ores, non-ferrous metals, paper and cellulose, among others. Its mission is to ensure the development of enabling technologies and best practices throughout all stages of production, thus contributing to a more efficient process industry.

INEGI is one of 4 Portuguese entities in the association, who will have a «voice» in defining the strategic priorities of the European process industry and collaborate with the European Commission in the preparation of annual work plans for the R&I funding framework program – Horizonte Europe.
