INEGI in 25 finalist projects to be financed by EU stimulus package for business innovation

The preliminary result of the candidacies for the Mobilizing Agenda for Business Innovation, supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), is already known and, out of a total of 64, INEGI is in 25 of these pre-approved consortiums.

These proposals received the assessment of "very good" by IAPMEI - Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, and now pass to the next stage, where the pre-qualified consortia will present the final proposals.

The consortium that INEGI integrates involve companies, universities and scientific and technological institutions, and aim to contribute to the country's economic resilience, digital transformation and climate transition. The projects cover themes of mobility, space and logistics, industry and production technologies, energy, natural resources and environment, health and well-being, among others

It should be remembered that the Portuguese PRR is a nationally applied program that will support a set of reforms and investments that will allow the country to resume sustained economic growth.

The Business Innovation Mobilizing Agendas are a component of the PRR and, by 2030, these Agendas should effectively contribute to the increase in exports of goods and services, to the increase in investment in R&D and to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
